Behold...The Mighty PLAMP
One of my favorite close-up tools is the mighty plamp from Wimberly (B&H). This is a clamp that is made to hold plant and flower stems still in the wind. It is built so that it doesnt damage the stem. It is also adjustable. The black arm is actually called loc-line, and each segment snaps apart, so you can make it shorted or longer. I also use it to photograph very small items like stamps and small parts.
