Another day on the Mynd

We don't start back in school until Monday so I thought I'd enjoy a day up the Mynd without the crowds. There was a wild pony and a very young foal on my path who I didn't really want to disturb and so I ended up scrambling up a non-path. One day I'll go for a walk up on the Mynd and not stray from a path or get lost. 

I didn't see many other wild ponies out today and the only one that I got close enough to really didn't want to be photographed. Some days they will pose happily but not today.  

Just a short one today because I'm gearing up for an 18 mile training run in the morning. It's getting to the point in training now where I can't wait for London to be out of the way so that I can enjoy running for fun and not hours and hours of long training runs. Still, it will be worth it on the day. Or that's what I keep telling myself.
