The Remains of a Pepper

I had a day of packing, washing and eating left over food so that nothing goes to waste and all clothes are clean. It’s pre holiday madness in action.
I also stayed in all morning after getting an email from the Post Office saying an online order would be delivered between 9:47 and 1:47- (how exact can you get?). I had thought the package was to be delivered to the shop in question so was a little surprised that it seemed to be coming to the house instead. When I got a further message at 12:15 saying it was delivered but I hadn’t received it I realised it had actually been delivered to the shop. I’m not sure what the point of giving me such precise details was. Down to the shop I went and picked it up.

The town is still packed with tourists despite the English schools going back this week
