Ben Wyvis

Beautiful sunny day today, at least west of Garbh. If anything a little too hot for walking. Did Ben Wyvis with C+S and this is the view west over the Fannichs. The extra is a curious swarm of wasps at the summit cairn at 1046m above see level, something that I've seen at the tops of a number of hills over the last few weeks and I've never noticed in the Highlands before. I wonder what it is causing it, are wasps nesting in the cairns? If so, why now all of a sudden?
