Day 1 of Presidency

So today I became the President of the Geographical Association. I've been involved as a member since the 1980s, I worked for the GA between 2008 and 2011. I served on the Primary Committee from 2004 to 2018. I've written numerous resources for the website, and also several books for the GA. I've written a column in the magazine for 14 years, and contributed articles to all 4 of their journals. I've been on Editorial boards, presented numerous CPD sessions, moderated their Quality Marks. I have form with the GA. This is tremendous honour and privilege. Went into school to start preparing my room for the new academic year. Home to drink some fizz and chat with some friends who have kept me grounded and laughing during the last 2 years. Here's to the year ahead.
