The Stour at Blandford and an IBIS

Woke up early as Mr B had arranged to play at 08:30. Collected him after. On a whim decided to drive to Blandford (45mns).

Been there once before, on a Sunday, when everything was closed. More to ‘do’ than I remembered. Walked up and down, had coffee, then tried to get into Blandford Park. No success, instead ended up on the banks of the River Stour.

If you look carefully, you might spot a white bird perched on the tree on the opposite bank (just right of centre). One of a pair of Ibises regularly seen there. A first for me.

Air Show starts tomorrow. 4 days. Always enjoy the Red Arrows - they perform every day at 3pm.
