Milo
I don't know if any of the blippers who visited Packwood House last week came across Milo, Chief Mouser, in the cafe. We certainly did today. Unfortunately we put our tray down covering the warning notice on the table, requesting us not to feed him. When we uncovered and read the notice it was too late, by then he had finished one jug of milk and some of our friend's leftover cake crumbs (plum and ginger I think).
The gardens looked pretty good. Our friends impressed us by knowing the names of most of the flowers. The extras show one of the many I didn't know, and also two swans chilling out by the lake.
In the morning we visited the estate agent regarding the sale of the FIL's house. We had made an appointment with the manager but when we arrived he had been called out to an urgent meeting. I suspected he might have been hiding in the back office. He did phone me in the afternoon to assure us that everything is on course. The buyers had been in to see him and we could expect them to sign the contract very soon, although there was still one unspecified enquiry to be resolved.
