Resting on Rudbeckia...

September is here, and Autumn too. The air temperature has dropped significantly, and the garden is feeling it. 

Most of all perhaps the insects are feeling it. This bee looks to be absolutely knocked out by it, and although its still alive I don't think much of its chances.

I love Autumn. Spring and autumn both; times of change, be it growth or decay. But it's fair to say I don't enjoy the cooler winds.
