Afro Celt Sound System

Monday, the last day of Shrewsbury Folk Festival

I mooched around and went to the session led by some of my other band.  I then packed up my tent after having something to eat before going to the session that my band were leading. (A lot of the same musicians were at both).  I enjoyed making a base section on my piano with a double bass player - great fun!

Afterwards and after a cup of tea and cake, I went to the end of the final concert which was Afro Celt Sound System, a very energetic and unusual fusion of European, Indian and  African musicians.  I'd heard them before and they're very spectacular to watch and listen to. Here is a video of them.
