Heading into Fall

...starting with the cooler weather this week. I didn't realize it was raining right now until I checked my weather app (hey, it's dark out). It looks like this will continue through the night and all day tomorrow. W has worked for years with the emergency ops team in the next county over, where his day job is, and is on-call through Thursday in case of flooding. As far as I know this isn't expected. With one exception, whenever he's on-call or goes in, nothing has ever happened. Maybe he's good luck!

Will catch up with journals tomorrow. In the meantime you might've heard my hysterical laughter when son D drove me to his guitar lesson. He's working on practice hours. Hopefully it wasn't audible, though...tried to keep it contained.
