Tiny Tuesday - a butterfly

What to snap for this weeks Tiny Tuesday and there, resting on the front door was this little butterfly. It stayed for quite a while, perhaps it was cold as we have had yet another grey and cool day.

I do not know what type of butterfly so perhaps an expert can help.
