South Tynedale Railway

I set out to do some shopping but the light over the Eden Valley looked very enticing. Drove to the top of Hartside pass and, unfortunately, the weather had closed on and it was in thick cloud.
Coffee was calling so I continued on to Alston and had a belting brew in the cafe of The South Tynedale Railway and a very interesting chat with the guardsman. I think he was hankering after me becoming a volunteer on the railway!!
The rest of the day was pretty glum so I chilled out and did Sal’s Lego flowers which she lent me. I’ll probably blip then some day soon.
