On the Beach.

Determined not to be dulled by the forecast of dull weather again today.  I really should learn that a dull day can be a good day for photography.  Colours are subtle and there are no shadows to worry about.  About once month I need to carry out a short run in the car to clear the particulate filter light which had come on.  I have got it down to a fine art - warm the car up a bit, put it in to S (for Sport) mode and keep it in as low gear as possible but maintain revs.  Luckily it was pretty quiet along the seafront as I must sound and look like a mad old batty driver who doesn't know when to change up a gear with the engine unnecessarily racing away - it's automatic anyway.  Around about The Roslin Hotel the dashboard light goes out and I can head home but I usually use the opportunity to take a Blip shot.  Dull weather and no tide today meant that I could get a free parking spot as visitors seemed to have stayed away. Was going to do something macro for Tiny Tuesday but it has a theme of "in the forest" so it had to be beach shots put together as a triptych.  A bit over processed but I enjoyed the exercise.
