Happy…sad

The day started well, I woke an hour early and the sun was shining and I got this package of garden supplies in the post. Life looked good. Then my daughter rang mid morning to say their dog Woofo had been injured and died. She was so sad. It doesn’t help them with their grieving after losing their father, father-in-law and grandfather last week. Woofo was of comfort to them. I’ve been feeling awful all day with that sinking feeling you get.

Bathurst has another five cases so now we have 20. We only had 9 last year all of which were returning travellers. Our citizens will have to learn to follow the strict lockdown rules or we will be in trouble.
