O.K. Which is which?

Not enough cold/snow to prevent The Shop. Must be all of 2" on the lawn, with the roads clear. Enough to keep us in except for the shopping, where, with typical skill and efficiency, I didn't spot anything worth digging the Pointy-Shooty out, having forgotten ye biggun.
It must be "a bit clashy" for the fowls of the air, yesterdays scraps almost vanished, bones included, before they hit the deck and a couple of rooks elbowed the pigeons aside and raided their seed-pot. I was rather struck by the black on white, so I did one and could barely tell one from 'tother.

Is it my imagination, or is s/he sitting rocked back on the heels, Emperor Penguin style?
