Súgandisey

Left town for a little adventure and headed for Stykkishólmur, a town on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Had a walk around Súgandaey, by the harbour.
Then we went swimming in the local pool, as the weather not up to much, rainy and poor visibility.
Pool was small, but ok. I even had a go on the slide!
Then a little food shop, mostly cheese and crackers, and off to our night's lodgings. We had a tiny summerhouse all to ourselves, which was lovely. Had a snacky dinner and played cards. Went for a little walk and said hi to the horses and picked some berries. Very reminiscent of my childhood of staying in tents mostly.
