Chilly

It's so cold tonight the dog and I are sitting under a blanket. The wind is whistling around the house and although the snow hasn't really settled all day it is still lashing against the windows.

I have absolutely no inclination to go into the (huge, unheated) other room to take some photographs. In fact I have no inclination to get out from underneath the blanket whatsoever.

So I've taken the coward's route and tried the camera on my new (as of 5pm this afternoon) phone. Not bad actually, certainly better than the last BB.

Ma was really quite perky today. Walking again at last and without clinging to the furniture.

I think I shall watch the programme on Ancient Egypt then go and get equally cosy in bed :)
