The last of the roses...

...for MonoMonday - negative space today...
Thanks for hosting this month Carolina!

This was a rose we transplanted from my sister's garden when she moved. It was rather big, so we weren't sure it would take to a new spot, but it has thrived on the trellis. Not so many blooms this year - we think the rains got to it early in the "summer" we didn't really have - but it has still made a good effort, and is hanging on into autumn... 

We've had a pottering sort of day again - we always stay well out of the way on Bank Holidays...
