Seaside Outing

We return to our local beach today. Over lockdown, this was both our escape and sanctuary, and where many of my early blips were taken. Since the boundaries of our world have been extended, however, we’ve seldom visited, preferring to expand horizons with walks further afield. And of course over summer, the place has been overrun with trippers - best avoided, we tend to feel. 

Summer definitely feels over, with cooler overcast conditions, and judging by the numbers on the beach this morning, many seem to have decided to start the long trawl home early, hoping to avoid the slow nose-to-tail journey out of Wales. 

And so, there’s plenty of empty space on the beach today - can I use this as my negative space for today’s challenge? The little family I spot seem isolated from the world against the expanse of sand and sky, but very much together, enjoying a special moment by the sea.
