Thistle seeds

Monday afternoon walk at Mugdock.
Very overcast but dry and still.
There were lots of thistles getting ready to send their fuzzy seed heads off into the sky and lots of swallows getting ready to head to warmer climes, and with the grey skies above the photos were almost mono without any help from me!
