Creeping Thistle ......

...... almost at the peak of thistledown explosion ...... by this time tomorrow the windborne seeds will be scattered or trapped on some nearby thistle leaves.

My first task this morning was to give my landfill bin a good hose out with some disinfectant. Everything that goes in it is bagged but the recent hot weather has had a rather undesirable effect and the smell was rather unpleasant.

Then it was off to the supermarket for some fruit .... a little and often is the best way at this time of year.
