Marion Drake

Three of us went to a talk by Marion Drake, a lovely lady, about her large collection of antique quilts. This is the third time I have heard her and most of the ones I saw were new to me. She sells some and I bought a lovely blue and white from her a couple of years ago. Today Belinda bought one.
Looking at the quilt here it’s salutary to reflect our quilting forebears were very capable of original and out there design.
