Lou and I have walked in The Lakes together for decades. Traditionally Frank joins us annually on my birthday ( today)

Lou and I have recently discussed how sad we are that our hill walking days may be over. However,  in the spirit of " there's more than one way to skin a cat" we discovered that the National Trust provide off road " trampers" at sites across the country.

Today Lou secured the use of one such tramper at Tarn Hows. Frank sorted out the  pic nic and did all the fetching and carrying ! It was bloody amazing. We are all exhausted.....that fabulously delicious kind of exhausted.
