Resting

I went to the allotment for the usual feeding/watering/clipping etc. Picked some more brambles and dug up the first shaws of potatoes - they look very good. I was just picking some of the last sweet peas when I met this bee, apparently having a little rest. (I didn't pick her flower stem!). I hope some knowledgable blipper will tell me her name - I didn't have my bee ID chart to hand.

D spent most of the day unpacking and putting stuff away - including several bits of kitchen equipment he'd had to acquire due to the poorly supplied kitchen in the 'serviced' appartment in Hull. Our kitchen cupboards are bursting with assorted baking tins. We also seem to have amassed a veritable mountain of tuna between us.
