Solitary tree, near Grike

Bank Holiday weekend, and we knew the Lakes were going to be pretty chaotic, so we headded over to one of the quieter areas of the western Lakes, near Ennerdale. Did a little walk over Grike, Crag Fell and Lank Rigg. An 8 mile circuit, but remarkably quiet. Weather forecast was for full sun with blue skies, but yet again, they got that really wrong - pretty cloudy all morning.
