And another snow storm.....

We lost power about 3 am and just got it restored around 4 pm today.....it howled and blew and made for some wicket weather out there! We had to cancel the meditation retreat that was set to start today.....that was a big disappointment...everything was ready...except the soup Terry was to make this afternoon! But the snow drifts were huge and without power we couldn't possibly host 16 folks here and in the cabins for the weekend! Too bad! but at least the power is on (for now!!)....we've been lulled into that false sense of security a few times.....but hopefully it'll be on long enough to cook dinner!

Last year around this time, it was up in the plus 20's for a couple of days! Go figure!!!
