Delapre Abbey lake.

How cold was it today??!! I was going to go to the forrest, thinking it would be sheltered from the wind, but then started thinking 'strong wind = falling branches' so changed my mind! A (very) quick walk around the lake at Delapre Abbey would be just enough today. It was very slippery and waterlogged in places (Why did I not think it wouldn't be?) but we managed to get round and beat a hasty retreat back home to warm back up.
The snow has started now and I was so glad I went when I did.
The log burner is on and wine is poured. Happy Friday evening everyone! :-)
