Ale Festival

Colchester Castle is currently closed for a huge refurbishment, but someone had the excellent idea of holding a CAMRA ale festival inside the cleared castle, and it was amazing. We worked on the logic of getting a series of halves so we could try more ale; a very wise decision as they were the most liberal halves I've ever seen! It was great to see so many people in the castle; hopefully the success of this one-off event may see it become a more regular festival.
