Day 241/21. Who knew?

Our daughter brought round a massive sunflower head today to show us. It put ours to shame and was well over 3 metres high when growing. See second picture today.
I'd never noticed before that each one of the hundreds of seeds in the sunflower head had its own small flower.....
It looks other worldly when photographed close up.
