Mares and foals

Grey, overcast and chilly but we enjoyed a circular walk they included woodland, grazing fields and tall (almost 3 meters) maize. In one of the fields there were a number of foals with their mares.
A little more gardening this afternoon, harvesting potatoes for our meal this evening and clearing the peas that have developed some mildew.
