Seeds and sedum.

There are now gaps appearing in the flower borders where I’ve been deadheading and tidying.
Leaves are now beginning to drift off the Liquid Amber tree at the top of the garden.

Very autumnal feel about the light and garden today.
Almost September.
Junior Great Spotted Woodpecker came to the back apple tree yesterday afternoon. Following in his parents footsteps. I was sitting in the summerhouse at the time and only a few feet away. But if I’d attempted to take a photo, he would have been gone in a flash.
So the new week will usher in the new month.
