excitement of a shopping trip!

its the weekend and its the same routine. setting the alarm every 4 hours, seems a while now since i slept the whole night through. still with an early morning alarm call, i may as well watch the F1 Australian Grand Prix qualifying.....but it was a wash out!

excitement for today is lisa taking me shopping to Sainsburys! that was a challenge, could hardly see dates on things, and somehow ended up spending double what i usually spend on a weekly shop!

called round to mums at lunch to see Peter who'd gone there for his lunch. lovely to see him, and we had a few laughs!

it'd been raining most of the day, and mid afternoon it finally stopped. went out a walk with Pete, which turned out to be a bit of a mud bath for him. great to get fresh air though.

Bathed Pete, made a fire, and curry for tea. really hoping eyes start to improve soon. alarm set for later for drops, which should coincide with the Aussie F1 quali. early start tomorrow to watch the race too. c'mon Jenson!
