Last walk along the seafront before leaving for home at 9:30am.

I knew it would be a long journey home, eta 8:45pm in Seaford, but that was without the closure of the M27 causing massive hold-ups.  Seemed there was no sat nav adjustments possible. Home by 10.

I did not realise when booking the two coach trips, last week and this week, that the journeys were so circuitous and lengthy. I seem to have visited most of the motorway services across the country, plus a selection of shopping malls and bus stations whilst they picked up and dropped off passengers, or for breaks. The routes are obviously planned with economy of vehicle use in mind, not of the comfort of passengers. Suffice it to say, no more coach trips for me!
