Red and White Phone Box

Somewhat overgrown and today covered in blasted snow this rather iconic Red Phone Box sits outside the local Post Office in Chapel of Garioch near Inverurie.

The Post Office is of course long closed but has recently gained new life as a rather splendid café and tea shop somewhat aptly named "Old Post Office Tea Room".
It's described as a "Lovingly restored old Post Office serving morning coffee with home made cakes and afternoon teas with some tables on the pavement outside and a garden patio at the back to sit out on those warm Aberdeenshire days."

This time last year we had unseasonable temperatures reaching 70F. Today it is below freezing with blizzards.
