Aged well

I went along to a lovely memorial service today for a business acquaintance’s father. Although I hadn’t known him (I went to support her) the celebrant did a great job of painting a picture of an active, interesting man who has lived a full life.

Driving home I passed one of many old buildings around here and reflected a bit about ageing and leaving your mark…

Keeping the deep and meaningful theme going, eldest son and I went out for pizza, beers and a movie tonight since rest of family away. Had some great chat - he is super well informed about lots of stuff and it was really interesting. Spy movie wasn’t half bad either :)
