HANGING OUT

I discovered a little corner of the old cemetery where there were several Migrant Hawker dragonflies literally hanging about, and quite relaxed about me creeping around them grabbing photos.

Earlier, B and I had been up to the other cemetery and I saw this semi-erythristic* grasshopper (extra). It's not as completely pink as the one I saw a couple of years ago, but I'm so chuffed to have seen another one. Two in a lifetime, what a privilege!

* A rare genetic mutation that makes them pink - and more vulnerable to predation.
