Born in a nice warm lambing shed, turned out to play in the fields in Spring and then...
...Boom, back to winter!
Better big lambs
Actually they didn't seem too bothered by the freezing weather, and many lambs were gambolling through the snow (I believe you should take every opportunity to use words like gambolling) I was struck by the fact that most of the ewes had twins, it had never seemed so common before, but I know very little (nothing!) about sheep husbandry (husbandry, another of those words!)
This was taken near Innerwick, East Lothian, in a biting easterly gale..
