Finally my ultra race arrived and I participated in the inaugural Drover’s Ultra starting and finishing at Crieff.

Somehow I was in joint 1st place for 20km but slipped to 4th by the finish line, relinquishing my lead to younger folks.

Glad to have completed but not sure I’d do it again, the race org was shambolic unfortunately.
