After the rain.

The weather today has been unpleasant with more strong wind. But we did have a couple of short falls of heavy rain which is a help for the garden.
These Bromeliads and Arums are happy plants!
My goddaughter swam in her first Paralympic event, the 150m Individual Medley, in the early hours this morning.(yes, I set my alarm and watched!)  She didn't make the finals, but what a proud moment to see her name and the SA flag. She still has more 50m events to swim, backstroke being her strongest.
