Hadrian’s Wall

(Catching up with my blips from mid week )
Friday morning we went into town to the bank and shops.
Then we headed to Gretna to return the shoes I had bought Mum that didn’t fit , I got the money back .
Then we headed to Gilsland , to walk part of Hadrian’s Wall . The river Irthing divides Gilsland village between Cumbria and Northumberland.
It was a lovely afternoon with glorious views of the wall , rolling hills, pastures and woods.
When we got back home we ate some of the delicious veg Thai curry my partner had made a few days ago.
