Vibrant….

Day eleven of Level Four Lockdown. There are 82 new cases of COVID-19 today …. All in Auckland. It seems the peak of new cases has not yet been reached.
This vibrant magnolia flower is gracing one of three street trees along the road from our place. The trees, although small, are making a striking display at present.
We had rain overnight and into this morning. Maisie and I splashed our way along the river paths not long after dawn. Heavy rain, umbrella appreciated. We saw only one other person.. a runner with her dog. Too wet for other folks.
