Friday: More Afghanistan

Another Afghanistan shift tonight, from 2pm -10.30pm.  This time I worked from the office as we had a scheduled power outage at home.

Working into the night on a Friday is odd as no one else seems to do it and the buildings just get increasingly dark around you.  

I went in to work, laden with dinner, and other snacks and treats.
It reminded me of when I used to work night shifts many years ago, particularly that slightly shaky feeling when an intense shift has ended.
