Heat index of 102 today! Fortunately it was followed by a thunderstorm which cooled things down, wet the flowers, and created cool light. 

I have no idea why there is a purple ornament hanging in the forest. 

The author used a different picture I took and her publisher loved it. Most importantly, she loved it.
