"Glamour"

It seems ironic on World Water Day that I had to go and find my full winter waterproofs before I could walk the farm, and our lane is flooded (again). I didn't want to risk the camera outside, so here is an emergency indoors blip - a contemporary alabaster and gold leaf sculpture by a young Hungarian sculptress called Csilla Varga who studied at Heatherleys in London. The model for the alabaster torso was a female body builder. I think it's amazing how the addition of a bit of gold leaf can be so provocative :-)
