At last ( WildflowerWeek21_22)
Something flowerlike in the rail cutting!
I'll have to sort out what it is - but there are a few plants, mostly next to the drainage channel right down in the lowest part of the cutting. Sadly - also the dimmest part of the space and with the dull grey light today I have not compromised well between sharp and noisy
Edit: identified as Hairy Willowherb, thanks to Tussock's boss and Terrifo. I managed to get a cropped version into Plant Net which covers Europe and confirm what it is.
We're going to take Monty Don's advice and cut the grass down very short now that the summer is all but over and hopefully give the wildflowers a better chance next spring.
