Twinsplus Festival Dubai and Maple is 8 months old

It is always a big effort to get us all out and ready for a day trip. It was well worth it this morning as Oscar and Bailee had loads of fun at the festival. Almost 3000 sets of multiples were registered to attend! We arrived not long after opening time, so it wasn't too busy. We got our 'free portrait' taken and had a browse around. It is getting very hot in the middle of the day now so we found a shady spot for lunch. Oscar and Bailee had Pizza Hut: a first for them and they loved it. It seemed less greasy than I remember it being (Probably 15 years ago!) Maple was an angel too, she had a good feed under the tree and we all felt refreshed.

On the way out we spotted the pony and thought this was an opportunity not to be missed! Bailee was first on and smiled the whole time! We left Oscar to ask if he could have a ride as he is more cautious than Bailee. He did ask and it was great to see him so confident and bursting with pride! The pony even did a little gallop!

Maple is 8 months old today! I don't know where the time has gone. She is a lot less sicky these days since putting her on solids. She still drinks a lot of milk and is not eating huge quantities but it is all working well for her. Her cold is a bit better today. The past three days she has been trying extremely hard to crawl and manages to go backwards. She ends up under beds and even in the twins play tent. It won't be long and she'll be off! She now loves to wave at everyone; she is such a doll.
