Wander, tickets, swim, castle, lunch, tutoring, feasting, sleeping.

41 today. Strange how "another year older" has turned into "still here".

You almost got a SP but we decided to go to the castle instead. First time I've been there since primary school. Naturally we had to be there for a certain time.

Having heard it most days for my first 20 years as I grew up on the north side of Edinburgh, I've hardly heard the one o'clock gun for the last 20 years while I've lived, worked and studied on the south side. Loud. And a bit cold and blowy up there today. Teaching tomorrow morning, so a toast will have to wait until tomorrow evening.
