Saved by the Man in Orange

After an offsite work day for me (Annie), a colleague was kindly giving me a lift home. Unfortunately, about halfway home a big engine warning light flashed up on his car and told us to pull over.

It was quite a wait for the RAC man, but it was warm and sunny, in quite a pretty leafy spot, and a good chance to relax and chat. Chris came in our car to give me a lift, and potentially taxi my colleague if the car needed to be recovered. Thankfully it was fixed, and we headed home, checking first my colleague made it home safely himself.

I (Chris) went in mid afternoon for a pre-op assessment in preparation for my upcoming eye operation. Fingers crossed I’ll get a date confirmed for the op next week.
