An Ironing Essential!

Hi there everyone. The weather has been beautiful the last couple of days.
A few months ago, my son Dominic asked if he could borrow my Ironing board, as his had broken. I know he does a lot of ironing, having the twins, and work shirts etc, so I said "of course you can love." I don't do much ironing these days, so I thought that would be fine. Needless to say, he still has it, and I shan't ask for it back. Anyhow, it is amazing, that I have actually missed, and on some occasions, really needed one.. So the other day I was looking on Amazon for one. My previous one had been a really good one, and quite heavy, which made it really stable. Well, you never guess.....Barry saw me looking, and ordered one for me. He chose it in pink, with a flamingo cover. He said that I am always buying stuff for the home, and doing things for him. He wanted to treat me! I was over the moon, because, as you know...Ironing boards have shot up in price now! It is beautiful, and might make the tedious task more fun. I definitely missed ironing things like Duvet covers, and curtains. I think I may well iron more often now. I know it isn't a particularly interesting blip, but it made my day.!!
