A different View

Richard had an appointment at Scarborough Hospital today for a scan. I acted as driver as we weren’t sure how he would react to the injected dye.

I took Jet for a walk and ended up exploring a different side of Scarborough. This is Manor Road cemetery opened after Dean Road cemetery was becoming full. It is constructed on different levels with circuitous pathways. It definitely has a otherworldly and neglected feel about it but interesting to explore. The bridge was used by funeral processions and is still a footbridge over the cemetery. Lots of information boards help make sense of the area.

Dashed back to the car but as usual they were over an hour behind so I still had a long wait.
